SERPENT PLAYING CARD
This playing card design features two serpents wrapped together in a bold, balanced composition that’s just as striking as a standalone poster as it is part of a deck. The color palette—gold, sage green, brown, and black—creates a unique and eye-catching combo that adds depth and elegance. The intertwining snakes form the heart of the design, symbolizing connection and tension, while the symmetry and detail give it a polished feel. I submitted this piece to the 2024 Annual Juried Art Show, where it earned a spot—and was later selected for the Elena Diane Curris Biennial Design Exhibition. This project was all about crafting something visually powerful, symbolic, and versatile.
WEINGART SWISS PUNK POSTER SERIES
This 2-poster series is a bold tribute to Wolfgang Weingart and his experimental Swiss Punk design style. Drawing from his rebellious approach to traditional Swiss typography, the posters break the grid while still keeping parts of its structure—playing with layering, distortion, and dynamic type arrangements. I leaned into sharp contrasts and unexpected compositions to capture the raw, expressive energy Weingart was known for. Each poster pushes the boundaries of legibility and layout, reflecting the tension at the heart of Swiss Punk. The series celebrates rule-breaking as a form of design innovation, channeling Weingart’s legacy in a way that feels very intentional.
